Following their major win in Ann Arbor, Texas is set to host a top recruiting target this weekend. According to several reports, five-star athlete Michael Terry III from Alamo Heights in San Antonio (TX) will be making an unofficial visit to Texas for their game against UTSA.
Terry recently visited Nebraska, where he watched the Cornhuskers face Colorado last weekend. Now, he’s heading back to Austin for another look at the Longhorns before making a trip to Eugene to visit Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks.

Ranked as the top athlete in the nation by 247Sports’ composite rankings, Terry is also listed as the 32nd overall player. He remains one of the highest-priority targets on Texas’ recruiting board, with the Longhorns staying in strong contention after focusing on him as an offensive playmaker.

With official visits behind him and Terry now touring his potential finalists, his recruitment seems to be nearing its conclusion. Texas holds a key advantage with its proximity, and it will be interesting to see if Steve Sarkisian and his staff can close the deal, pushing for yet another top-five recruiting class.
