The Green Bay Packers have a lot to address as they get ready to face the Indianapolis Colts in Week 2.
The defense has issues to address after struggling to contain Jalen Hurts during their opening game in Brazil. The coaching staff must make the necessary adjustments to ensure the team can compete against the Colts and throughout the NFL.
The Packers are also facing a challenge at quarterback, as Jordan Love is sidelined with a knee injury sustained in Brazil. Though he’ll be out for some time, his absence won’t last long enough to impact a major portion of the season.
Beyond the quarterback position, the Packers could improve their offensive depth. Despite a few standout performances in Week 1, the team still lacks a clear WR1. Strengthening the wide receiver options could greatly benefit the team, and the Packers have made efforts to do so with a recent acquisition.
The Green Bay Packers have signed former Patriots wide receiver TJ Luther to their practice squad.
According to Aaron Wilson, the 24-year-old undrafted wideout has shown enough potential to catch the attention of NFL teams, joining their practice squads. While Luther may not see game time with the Packers, having a capable player on the practice squad provides valuable depth, especially if injuries arise in the receiving corps.
