The Orlando Magic are preparing for next season by enhancing their already promising roster. On Thursday morning, the team revealed the signing of four free agents: guard/forward Jarrett Culver, guard Myron Gardner, and forwards Jalen Slawson and Tre Scott.
All four players have signed Exhibit 10 contracts, which are one-year deals at the league’s minimum salary, guaranteeing them a spot in training camp. These contracts can also be converted into two-way deals, allowing the players to potentially spend more time in the G League.

Although the Magic have signed these four players, fans in Orlando may not see much of them during the season.
The Magic have been quite active this offseason, bringing in Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Cory Joseph, and with a full roster, they seem ready for the upcoming year.
After finishing as the fifth seed in the East last season, one of their best performances in years, the Magic have gone from being a bottom-dwelling team to one of the most exciting in the league. With that success, fans now have higher expectations for 2024-25.
If the Magic take a step back and don’t build on last year’s success, how will fans react? While these four signings might not have a major impact, they indicate the Magic are eager to kick off the season and prove what they can achieve.
