Bruins fans can expect to see some familiar faces on the TD Garden ice Sunday night.
Boston released its roster for the preseason game against the New York Rangers just under five hours before the Original Six teams face off. Five players who suited up for the Bruins last season — Johnny Beecher, Patrick Brown, Mason Lohrei, Andrew Peeke, and Parker Wotherspoon — are set to participate in the exhibition match.
Other notable names on the roster include Mark Kastelic and Vinni Lettieri, two veteran forwards acquired in offseason trades. The goaltending duo for the night will be Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro.
Here’s the full roster for Boston’s matchup with New York, as per the team’s announcement:
Forwards: Johnny Beecher, Patrick Brown, Riley Duran, John Farinacci, Mark Kastelic, Cole Koepke, Trevor Kuntar, Vinni Lettieri, Fabian Lysell, Georgii Merkulov, Jaxon Nelson, Riley Tufte

Sunday’s game is the first of seven preseason contests before the Bruins kick off their regular season on Oct. 8 against the defending Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers.
