Four-star power forward London Jemison announced his commitment to Alabama Basketball and head coach Nate Oats on Saturday, choosing the Crimson Tide over finalists Louisville and Virginia.
Jemison is the second recruit in Alabama’s 2025 class, joining fellow four-star wing Amari Allen, who committed to the program on September 10th.
Alabama is building significant recruiting momentum following last season’s Final Four appearance. The Crimson Tide secured the No. 2 recruiting class for 2024 and is positioning itself for another strong class in 2025.
Jemison’s decision comes just a week ahead of a crucial recruiting weekend for Alabama, which includes an official visit from A.J. Dybantsa, the No. 1 player in the country.
Standing at 6’8″ and 200 pounds, Jemison is considered a bit of a developmental player who will need to add size to compete at the Division I level. He’s a stretch-four known for his three-point shooting and has shown significant defensive versatility and potential.
Jemison is ranked as the No. 38 overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings and the top player in Connecticut.
Earlier in the summer, Jemison was highlighted by On3’s Jamie Shaw as a standout performer at the NBPA Top 100 camp.
With Jemison’s commitment, Alabama moves up to No. 6 in the 2025 class rankings according to the 247Sports composite.
