Georgia will be missing one of their wide receivers for the upcoming game against Alabama.
In one of the most anticipated matchups of the college football season, the Georgia Bulldogs are heading to Tuscaloosa to face the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both teams are relatively healthy for this top-five showdown, and Georgia is hoping to recover some players from injury. However, wide receiver London Humphreys will be unavailable for the Bulldogs this Saturday.
Humphreys, who was diagnosed with mononucleosis as confirmed by *Bulldogs on SI* and initially reported by *Dawgs347*, is unlikely to play. Although he’s not a starter, Humphreys has been a key rotational player in his first season with Georgia after transferring from Vanderbilt. His standout performance came against his former team, where he recorded two catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. Since week one, however, he hasn’t logged any stats.
While Humphreys isn’t a starter, losing depth at wide receiver before such a pivotal game is less than ideal for the Bulldogs.
