Caitlin Clark may have been eliminated from the WNBA playoffs on Wednesday, but the Indiana Fever rookie still managed to set a new record before wrapping up her first season.
In her team’s 87-81 defeat to the Connecticut Sun on September 25, Clark delivered an impressive performance, recording 25 points, nine assists, and six rebounds.
Following the game, the Fever highlighted on social media that no other rookie in WNBA history had achieved such a stat line in a playoff game.
“Caitlin Clark is the first rookie in WNBA history to have 25/5/5 in a playoff game,” the team shared in a post on X. The WNBA also celebrated Clark’s historic accomplishment, acknowledging it in their own post and praising the rookie’s milestone.
