Several former players expressed their frustration on social media, unable to believe how Vanderbilt managed to defeat Alabama. The Commodores secured a 40-35 victory over the weekend, with their fans storming the field and trolling Nick Saban with a video on the Jumbotron.
Marquis Maze, a former Alabama wide receiver and two-time BCS National Champion in 2009 and 2011, voiced his anger on X (formerly Twitter). He stated, “This sh** is totally unacceptable at Alabama,” emphasizing that both the players and coaches need to understand this immediately.
