In their final injury report of the week, the Eagles announced that tight end Dallas Goedert will miss his second straight game. Goedert, one of quarterback Jalen Hurts’ key targets with 24 catches for 301 yards in five games, sustained a hamstring injury in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.
With Goedert out, Grant Calcaterra is expected to step into a larger role, having made nine receptions for 128 yards this season. Hurts will likely rely more on wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, while the Eagles may also look to running back Saquon Barkley, who had a dominant 176-yard, one-touchdown performance against the New York Giants last Sunday.
