DONE JUST IN: Eagles Lands another $141 Million Blockbuster Superstar trade deal In Philly

Over the next few days, trade rumors are expected to be rampant. Most deals under discussion, however, won’t materialize. The NFL trade deadline is set for November 5, 2024, and some prominent names have already changed teams. So far, most of the high-profile trades have involved wide receivers, but there’s also been significant buzz around potential moves for edge rushers.

The Philadelphia Eagles have been highlighted as a team possibly in the market for a pass rusher. With high aspirations for the 2024 season, the Eagles are already a strong team with few weaknesses, but adding a pass rusher could make them even more formidable. Zach Ciavolella of Philly Sports Network listed five potential pass rushers for the Eagles, including Jacksonville Jaguars’ star Josh Hines-Allen.

“Now we’re talking. You want to make a splash? Josh Hines-Allen is exactly that,” Ciavolella stated. “This season has been close to a nightmare for the Jaguars. While a win over the New England Patriots boosted morale briefly, a loss to the Green Bay Packers and multiple key injuries have dampened spirits. An upcoming game against the Eagles could seal their fate.”

Hines-Allen had 17.5 sacks last season but has only managed three this year, in part due to the team’s overall struggles. Although he’s one of Jacksonville’s least likely players to be traded, a compelling offer and the chance to offload salary could sway the decision.

Hines-Allen, 27, signed a five-year, $141 million deal with Jacksonville, so trading him would be surprising—but he would be a dream acquisition for Philadelphia.
