Alabama football trolls Demarcus Riddick after Jalen Milroe TD

Auburn linebacker Demarcus Riddick’s bold claims leading up to the Iron Bowl didn’t hold up during the game. Riddick, who had said Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe couldn’t match his speed, was left in the dust when Milroe ran past him for a touchdown.

Adding insult to injury, Alabama’s official social media account posted a video after the game highlighting Riddick’s comments, interwoven with footage of Milroe’s touchdown and celebration. However, the post was short-lived, appearing at 8:13 p.m. CT but being deleted before 9:30 p.m.

Milroe was the star of Alabama’s 28-14 victory, scoring three rushing touchdowns while racking up 104 yards on the ground and 256 passing yards. Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer praised Milroe’s resilience and leadership, emphasizing his crucial role in securing the win.

Riddick, who had made headlines earlier in the week for taking shots at Milroe and Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams, finished with just two tackles. On Monday, Riddick had dismissed Williams as “not a big-time player” and confidently claimed Milroe wouldn’t escape his defensive coverage.

With the win, Alabama closed out the regular season at 9-3 and now awaits its postseason fate, including the possibility of a College Football Playoff berth, pending the results of next weekend’s conference championship games.
