Alabama football linebacker Sterling Dixon is set to enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
Dixon, a former four-star recruit from Spanish Fort, appeared in three games during the 2024 season: against Western Kentucky, Missouri, and Mercer. He contributed on both special teams and defense, recording one tackle.
Standing at 6-3 and 211 pounds, Dixon was ranked as the No. 202 overall player and No. 18 edge rusher in the 2024 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Dixon joins tight end Ty Lockwood as players from the Crimson Tide entering the transfer portal on Sunday.
Following Alabama’s ReliaQuest Bowl appearance on Tuesday, an additional five-day portal window opened. The final day for Crimson Tide players to enter the portal during this cycle is Sunday. While players must be in the portal by that deadline, they have time to finalize their decision.
