Official WNBA: Fever Reveal Major Schedule Update for Several Caitlin Clark Games

The WNBA offseason is still underway, but Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever will return to action on May 3 for a preseason matchup against the Washington Mystics at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. On Thursday, the Fever announced a venue change for both of their road games against the Mystics.

According to the team’s press release, Indiana’s games in Washington on May 28 (7:30 p.m. ET) and September 7 (3 p.m. ET), originally set for Entertainment and Sports Arena in D.C., will now take place at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore.

Additionally, the Mystics have moved two other home games to EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, Virginia—one against reigning WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces and another featuring Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky. These changes likely aim to meet the high demand for tickets to see Clark, Wilson, and Reese in action, providing more fans the opportunity to attend.

Entertainment and Sports Arena holds just 4,200 spectators, whereas CFG Bank Arena accommodates 14,000 and EagleBank Arena fits 10,000. Last season, the Mystics also moved a home game against the Fever to Capital One Arena, which seats 20,000, further highlighting the growing interest in these marquee matchups.
