Sidney Rouleau, a 6-foot-6, 295-pound Canadian offensive lineman, recently received an offer from the University of Alabama. Rouleau attends The Pennington School in New Jersey and holds over 20 college football offers, including recent ones from Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon, and USC. Expressing his excitement, Rouleau stated, “It meant a lot to get offered from Alabama. All my hard work is showing up, and it is a blessing.”
Alabama has a history of recruiting Canadian talent, with recent commitments such as basketball guard Josh Primo and football defensive end Steve Pierre Bolo Mboumoua. Primo, a 6-foot-6, 180-pound combo guard from Mississauga, Ontario, committed to Alabama in March 2020. Mboumoua, a 6-foot-4, 260-pound defensive end from Lac Megantic, Quebec, signed with Alabama in December 2023.
Rouleau’s recruitment highlights Alabama’s continued interest in Canadian prospects, reflecting the program’s commitment to identifying and developing international talent.
