Congratulations Raiders: Las Vegas Raiders complete the deal for top WR, 31.

The idea of Stefon Diggs joining the Las Vegas Raiders does have some intriguing possibilities. With the Raiders’ need for a true No. 1 wide receiver, Diggs could be a major asset if he returns healthy from his ACL injury. His past production (despite the injury-shortened 2024 season) shows he can be a dynamic playmaker, and pairing him with a QB like Geno Smith, who he’s reportedly training with, could make for a smooth transition.

The current WR room for the Raiders, led by Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker, would certainly benefit from Diggs’ addition. He could provide a reliable target on the outside, giving the offense an experienced and proven option to help stretch the field and take pressure off the other receivers. Additionally, with the Raiders likely eyeing the draft to further bolster the WR position, signing Diggs could allow them to focus on other areas of need, knowing they have a top-tier receiver already in place.

Given that Diggs is expected to be ready for the 2025 season, this could be a solid match if the Raiders are looking to compete sooner rather than later. It would be wise for the Raiders to explore the possibility of signing Diggs, especially if they feel his rehab is on track and his performance won’t be hindered by the ACL injury. If the Raiders do pursue him, the addition of Diggs could be a key move to strengthen their offensive weaponry for the upcoming season.
