The Seattle Seahawks’ running back Kenneth Walker III has been listed as a trade target for the Las Vegas Raiders. According to Bleacher Report’s Moe Moton, the Seahawks might be willing to trade Walker due to his declining production and recent injuries.¹ ²
Walker, who’s heading into the fourth and final year of his rookie contract, has seen a drop-off in his rushing numbers since his 2022 rookie season. He’s also missed several games due to injuries, including a calf injury that kept him out for six games last season.
The Raiders, who’ve struggled to replace Josh Jacobs after he left in free agency, could benefit from adding Walker to their roster. Walker’s natural running ability and fit in Chip Kelly’s inside zone offense make him an attractive target for the Raiders.³
In exchange for Walker, the Seahawks might receive a 2025 sixth-round pick, which would allow them to focus on Zach Charbonnet as their lead running back and allocate resources to other areas.
