South Carolina is among the top contenders for Smigiel’s services, along with UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Washington.⁴ The Gamecocks’ coaching staff, including head coach Shane Beamer, has been actively pursuing Smigiel, and he’s expected to take several visits this spring.
