Another huge get for Jeff Brohm and company.
Four-star Archbishop Hoban (OH) athlete Payton Cook, a top 150 prospect in the class of 2026, has committed to Louisville. Cook picked the Cards over Michigan, Tennessee, Miami, Wisconsin and Kentucky, among many others.
Cook led the state of Ohio in interceptions last season with 13, but he will play wide receiver at the college level. He is ranked by Rivals as the 20th-best WR and the 141st-best overall prospect in the class. Cook is the 284th-best player in the class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.
Cook is now the highest-ranked player in Jeff Brohm’s 2026 recruiting class, which includes four 4-star prospects. The class is currently ranked as the 7th-best in the country by 247 Sports.
Let’s keep it rolling.
