Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark gained widespread attention for something off the basketball court.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is gearing up for her first WNBA playoff appearance, with Indiana set to face the Connecticut Sun in the opening round on Sunday.
Clark has had a historic rookie season, averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, and 5.7 rebounds. She led the league in assists and ranked fifth in points, making her the first player in WNBA history to top the league in assists while finishing in the top 10 for scoring, as reported by StatMamba on X.

While her on-court performance was remarkable, Clark also showcased her talents off the court in a viral TikTok video posted by fellow Fever guard Lexie Hull. In the clip, Clark demonstrated her MLB broadcasting skills, a video that amassed nearly 450,000 views. The clip gained further traction after MLB shared it on X and Instagram, where it received over 1.1 million views. Reacting to the video, Clark humorously commented, “@Phillies hire me?”
MLB even issued a fun challenge on Instagram, promising Clark a spot in the broadcast booth if their comment reached 22,000 likes, a goal well on its way with over 12,000 likes already.
Earlier this MLB season, Clark was featured in the New York Yankees broadcast booth, though she didn’t call the game. During her appearance on YES Network, she discussed various topics, including baseball, the Olympics, and the NBA.
Perhaps once the Fever’s season concludes, Clark will get her shot at broadcasting.
