The Milwaukee Brewers secured a 7-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night at PNC Park, marking their 90th win of the season. Already crowned National League Central champions, the Brewers were once again propelled by a strong performance from shortstop Willy Adames, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI, two runs scored, and his 20th stolen base of the year.

With that steal, Adames joined Jackson Chourio in the 20/20 club, making it the first time in Brewers history that two players achieved 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases in the same season. Adames is having an outstanding year, batting .252 with 32 home runs, 111 RBI, and an .802 OPS, just shy of his career highs. The 29-year-old is setting himself up for a big contract in free agency.
Chourio, entering the season as baseball’s No. 2 prospect, has also delivered, hitting .275 with 21 homers, 78 RBI, and 21 stolen bases, with a .798 OPS.
The Brewers are currently positioned as the No. 3 seed in the National League playoffs, which would pit them against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the wild card round. However, the Atlanta Braves are just half a game behind Arizona for that spot. Milwaukee will face the Pirates again on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. ET.
