“A fitting look for today. Jordan Love has thrown 3 TDs (now four) and 3 INTs today — a truly Favrian stat line,” commented Zach Kruse of The Packers Wire on X.

He wasn’t alone in teasing Love about his performance.

“Jordan Love has honored Brett Favre not only by wearing his No. 4 jersey to Lambeau Field today, but by tossing three picks. Some real head-scratchers today,” Ryan Wood of USA Today joked on X.

Jordan Love shows the good and bad in return for Packers

The Packers found themselves trailing 28-0 to the Vikings in the first half, primarily due to mistakes made by Love. While some of the interceptions involved bad luck, they significantly impacted Green Bay’s performance. However, the Packers mounted a comeback in the second half, narrowing the score to 28-22. The Vikings answered with a field goal, extending their lead to 31-22. Love managed to throw a fourth touchdown with under two minutes remaining, bringing the score to 31-29, but Minnesota recovered the onside kick, securing the victory.

The Packers fell to 2-2 on the season, with both wins occurring while Love was sidelined with an injury. Meanwhile, the Vikings improved to 4-0 after their narrow victory.

It’s clear that Love brings more explosive potential to the Packers’ offense, although he also tends to make some risky throws.

Next week, the Packers will travel to face the Los Angeles Rams, who sit at 1-3 following a loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 4. Fans are hopeful that Love can deliver a cleaner performance in that matchup.
