JUST IN: Alabama Football releases another Law availability report of Vanderbilt for Kalen DeBoer after confirming a setback injury

In line with the SEC’s new policy, Alabama Football released its first availability report for the Vanderbilt matchup on Wednesday evening. Only two players are mentioned: wide receiver Kendrick Law and linebacker Justin Jefferson, both having sustained minor injuries during the Georgia game.

Head coach Kalen DeBoer earlier classified Law as day-to-day during the weekly SEC teleconference, and he remains listed as “questionable.” Jefferson, however, is marked as “probable.”

The report brings positive news for Alabama fans, as neither DeVonta Smith nor Red Morgan—who were injured in last week’s game—are listed, nor are the three players who appeared on last week’s report. Linebackers Qua Russaw, Jeremiah Alexander, and running back Richard Young, who were initially listed as “probable,” were later downgraded to “questionable” on the final report before Saturday. Their absence from this week’s list suggests they are now healthy and ready to play in Nashville.

Meanwhile, Vanderbilt’s availability report is more detailed:

– DL Zaylin Wood – Out
– CB Mark Davis – Out
– OL Grayson Morgan – Out
– EDGE Boubacar Diakite – Questionable
– WR Joseph McVay – Questionable
– WR Loic Fouonji – Probable
– S Dontae Carter – Probable
– DL Khordae Sydnor – Probable

All SEC schools are required to submit official availability reports on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during weeks when playing a conference opponent, with a final report due no later than 90 minutes before kickoff.
