SHOCKING NEWS, JUST IN: Caitlin Clark made unbelievable comment About WNBA Rookie of the Year Race vs. Angel Reese

When questioned about the pursuit of the league’s top rookie honor, Clark emphasized that their focus is on winning games, not individual accolades. “I think Angel and I would both tell you the same thing,” Clark said. “We’re not waking up thinking about personal awards, even though that’s what everyone assumes. That’s not where our minds are. The real focus is on helping our teams make the playoffs. Caring only about personal awards would be selfish, and I’m sure Angel feels the same way. If you’re playing basketball just for individual awards, you’re doing it wrong.”

Both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese have had remarkable rookie seasons. Heading into Friday night’s game, Clark is averaging 18.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and a league-leading 8.1 assists per game. Reese, on the other hand, is averaging 13.3 points and tops the WNBA with 12.9 rebounds per game.
