The Bruins have officially revealed their uniform and logo for the Dec. 1 Centennial game, which will conclude their year-long celebration of the franchise’s 100th anniversary and 100th season.
They will host the Montreal Canadiens at TD Garden for this special game. “The Centennial Game will be a significant moment for our organization, and most importantly, for our fans. The jersey design had to reflect that,” said Bruins President Cam Neely. “There are many elements for both players and fans to appreciate, but my favorite is on the bottom hemline. When our players put on this jersey, they’ll see our core values: tradition, grit, passion, and heart. These values have defined us for a century and will guide us into the next generation, starting December 1.”
The uniform closely resembles last season’s home black jerseys, which were also part of the centennial celebration. It features the yellow spoked “B” from the 1970s and 1980s. A gold patch with a centennial logo is displayed on the right shoulder, and the sleeves and socks incorporate more gold with fewer stripes than the 2023-24 uniforms.
Inside the collar, the date and score of the franchise’s first game—played on Dec. 1, 1924, at Boston Arena (now Northeastern)—are inscribed: Boston Bruins 2, Montreal Maroons 1. The team’s core values—tradition, grit, passion, and heart—are also embedded in the bottom hem.
It’s not yet confirmed if the Bruins will wear these jerseys again during the season.
