JUST IN: Alabama took a shocking decision for Kalen DeBoer after Tide loses to Tennessee

Former Alabama football players are rallying behind Kalen DeBoer following the Crimson Tide’s 24-17 loss to the Vols. This defeat dropped Alabama to No. 15 in the AP Top 25 Poll, raising concerns about their playoff hopes.

Some Alabama fans have voiced frustration with the team’s recent performances under DeBoer. However, former Tide wide receiver Marquis Maze defended the new coach, emphasizing how challenging it is to succeed in the SEC. Maze tweeted, “Coach Saban honestly turned some of you into spoiled brats. It’s the man’s first year in a tough conference, and y’all are already talking about firing him. Remember, The GOAT (Saban) went 10-3 with one of his most talented teams in 2010! Winning in the SEC is hard.”

Former Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland echoed a similar sentiment, urging fans to be patient with DeBoer. He posted, “I get it, we lost, but y’all are trippin’ talking about firing the man. It’s his first year, and everything is new. It’s going to be okay.”
