Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark concluded her debut WNBA season following a Game 2 playoff loss to the Connecticut Sun. Clark’s remarkable season, which was one of the most historic in league history, earned her a spot on the All-WNBA First Team.
She joined A’ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, Breanna Stewart, and Alyssa Thomas on this prestigious team. Notably, Clark became the first rookie since Candace Parker in 2008 to receive this honor.
On Thursday, Parker shared her reaction on Instagram, celebrating Clark’s achievement while reflecting on her own. Clark’s feat marks her as just the fifth rookie since 2000 to make the All-WNBA First Team, joining Parker, Diana Taurasi (2004), Sue Bird (2002), and Tamika Catchings (2002).
Like Parker, Clark was a No. 1 draft pick, and her exceptional play throughout the 2024 season led the Fever to their first playoff appearance in eight years. Along the way, she set records for single-season assists and most points by a rookie.
