SHOCKING NEWS JUST IN: Iconic Finebaum caller rips Kalen DeBoer for Alabama football just now

On Monday’s episode of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” a well-known caller, Legend, started off with a balanced take on Alabama’s 24-17 loss to Tennessee. He stressed that fans know the difference between sports and reality, saying, “We don’t wish harm on anyone. We don’t want people hurt or trees poisoned. This is just an escape from reality.”

But that perspective quickly shifted.

Legend, who once famously compared Alabama’s 40-35 loss to Vanderbilt to catching your wife in bed with a neighbor, returned to the show fired up. He didn’t hold back, especially when addressing Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer.

“They say a team reflects its coach,” he said, his voice rising. “Our team is undisciplined and soft, and so is coach DeBoer. You’ve come down South, coach, and someone’s told you you can’t confront players. Well, let me tell you, if they don’t want to listen, tell them to hit the door.

“Alabama’s faking injuries and running plays behind jump shots—what kind of coaching is this at the greatest program in the world?”

Legend didn’t stop there. He shifted blame toward Alabama’s athletic director, Greg Byrne, saying, “I blame you. You’ve got a coach talking about soul searching. Who are you, Jim Baker? We don’t need soul searching; we need coach searching.”

Though Legend made it clear he’ll always support the Crimson Tide, the performance on the field left him frustrated. “This isn’t Alabama football,” he concluded. “And any fan who accepts this isn’t a real fan.”
