Washington Commanders cornerback Kevon Seymour won’t return to the field until December after being suspended for six games without pay for violating the NFL’s Performance-Enhancing Substances Policy. Seymour, a former sixth-round pick, has seen limited action this season, playing in two games with one combined tackle. He previously played for the Ravens, Bills, and Panthers. Seymour is eligible to return on Dec. 2, after Washington’s Week 13 game against the Titans. Despite his absence, the NFC East-leading Commanders (5-2) recently received positive injury news regarding rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.
The suspension was announced on October 22, 2024, after Seymour was flagged for using banned substances, though the specific details surrounding the violation have not been made public.
