SHOCKING NEWS: Caitlin Clark facing Unlikely Decision for Angel Reese

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese debuted her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” on Wednesday, September 5. The first episode, titled “Angel Reese Spills The Tea On Caitlin Clark, Her Love Life, LSU Rumors & More On Her New Show,” teased discussions about Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark, Reese’s personal relationships, and stories from her time at LSU. Fans were particularly intrigued by Clark’s mention in the title and the initial thumbnail, which featured Clark, Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant, and LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson.

The episode now features an updated thumbnail showing only Reese and her co-host. While it’s likely that Reese had little to no involvement in choosing the episode’s title or thumbnail, as those decisions are typically made by a dedicated team, the Chicago Sky forward has still faced criticism from fans. One user on X, @JermySaintLouis, commented, calling the show “Unapologetically click baity.”

Some fans have accused Reese of leveraging Caitlin Clark’s name and image for “clout” on her new show. One user on X, @indianafeverish, referred to it as “Clout chasing,” echoing the sentiment of others who believe the mention of Clark was a marketing tactic.

It’s important to note that Reese likely had no hand in creating the original thumbnail, which no longer includes Caitlin Clark. Despite this, some fans have continued to criticize Reese. One user on X, @CCUpdates2, remarked, “Caitlin worried about practicing and getting triple doubles while you worried about a podcast and can’t make a layup. That’s the difference.”

Several comments like these have appeared under the post on X, criticizing Reese despite it being unlikely that she had any involvement in creating the thumbnail. Nevertheless, the Chicago Sky forward continues to face backlash from fans over the situation.
