LOS ANGELES DODGERS SIGN NOLAN ARENADO TO MULTI-YEAR DEAL
The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a major splash in the free agent market, signing five-time All-Star third baseman Nolan Arenado to a multi-year contract.
According to sources, the deal is worth $35 million per year over five years, with an opt-out clause after the third year.
Arenado, a Southern California native, expressed his excitement about joining the Dodgers. “I’m thrilled to be coming home and playing for the team I grew up rooting for,” he said.
The Dodgers’ front office believes Arenado’s addition will bolster their lineup and provide a significant boost to their World Series chances.
