Massive Announcement: No. 4 Ranked player In The Country Makes Decision to join Deion Sanders, Colorado football Via Social Media After Decommitting From Memphis football
Former Memphis football offensive lineman Xavier Hill has committed to Colorado, he announced on social media platform X.
Hill entered the portal last week as a graduate transfer and has one season of eligibility remaining. He’ll be expected to start for Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.
A first team All-AAC lineman in 2024, Hill was ranked as the No. 4 player available in the spring transfer portal by ESPN.

He stood out at Memphis for his versatility, starting games at multiple positions during his two years with the Tigers. He finished last season playing right tackle, but he projects as a guard at the pro level and will likely play inside at Colorado.
Hill started his career at LSU before transferring to Memphis before the 2023 season.
His departure opens up a starting spot on the offensive line. Returning guard Malachi Breland is out for the spring with a shoulder injury, but he’ll be a likely candidate to start at guard. Left tackle Chris Adams is the only other returning starter on the offensive line heading into the 2025 season.
The spring transfer portal window runs from April 16-25, but Hill was able to enter early because he’s a graduate transfer.
The Tigers will hold their spring game on April 26 at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.
