A.J. Brown playfully trolled New England and Philadelphia Eagles fans when he showed off a No. 11 Patriots jersey. It turned out to be an autographed jersey from Julian Edelman, who is one of Brown’s favorite players.

The All-Pro wide receiver’s Instagram post caught Edelman’s attention, prompting the legend to put on his recruiting hat.

“All day bro. Feel free to rock 11 when you sign #FoxboroForever,” Edelman commented Thursday.

Brown is a well-known Patriots fan and was delighted to receive autographed jerseys from not just Edelman but also Tom Brady. The 27-year-old was also a big fan of Mike Vrabel from their time on the Tennessee Titans. Those connections made it natural for fans to connect Brown to New England, which reportedly tried to trade for the superstar wideout this offseason.

There isn’t an indication that the Eagles want to part ways with Brown, who has four years left on his contract. Philadelphia could cut the wideout after the 2026 season, but that possibility seems unlikely.

Regardless, Edelman continues to look out for the Patriots, and he could be rewarded this summer if he’s voted into the team’s Hall of Fame.
