Love sustained a knee injury during Green Bay’s opening game of the season in Brazil.
Green Bay might see the return of their QB1, Jordan Love, sooner than initially anticipated. Love resumed practice on Wednesday, just twelve days after suffering what appeared to be an MCL injury during the team’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. Originally projected to miss three to six weeks, his limited practice participation hints at a possible earlier-than-expected return.

The Packers, currently 1-1, are set to face the 0-2 Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Love practiced with a protective brace covered by a leg sleeve and emphasized the need for medical clearance before considering playing again.
In Love’s absence during Week 2, backup QB Malik Willis led Green Bay to a 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Willis, who joined the team recently, completed 12 of 14 passes for 122 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions.
If Love isn’t ready to return, Willis will likely start against the Titans—the team that drafted him in 2022 before trading him to Green Bay for a seventh-round pick this offseason. Despite the history, Willis downplayed any desire for revenge, saying, “I could care less. They brought me into this league, and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”
